Welcome to Mystic River Pugs, where our love for this remarkable breed has been at the heart of everything we do since 2006. Nestled on 136 acres just outside Valleyview, Alberta—about 1.5 hours from Grande Prairie and 3.5 hours from Edmonton—our Pugs enjoy the freedom to run, play, and thrive in a beautiful, spacious environment.
As a small, family-run program, we are dedicated to the preservation and advancement of the Pug breed. Our focus is on health, temperament, and structure, ensuring that every Pug we raise is sound, well-balanced, and true to the breed standard. Guided by proven, health-tested bloodlines, our breeding program is built on excellence, with each litter planned with the intention of producing our next Champion.
But above all, our Pugs are family. Each one holds a special place in our lives—companions first, and show prospects second. That same philosophy extends to the puppies we raise and place. From the moment they’re born, our puppies are nurtured with care, socialized thoughtfully, and prepared for a lifetime of love and success in their new homes.
