Highwood Kennel is proudly based in both Alberta and British Columbia, with locations in Calgary, AB and Quesnel, BC. We are dedicated to breeding exceptional Standard Wirehaired Dachshunds, and Miniature Wirehaired Dachshunds—dogs that exemplify true breed type, sound structure, and outstanding temperament.
Our program is rooted in purpose. Every breeding decision is made with intention: to preserve the integrity of each breed while continuously improving upon the generations before. Whether destined for the show ring or a loving home, our dogs are raised to be confident, stable companions with the structure and presence their breeds are known for.
