HeatherBee Kennels is a well-established, Canadian Kennel Club (CKC) registered breeding program located in Qu’Appelle, Saskatchewan, dedicated to preserving and raising healthy, sound-tempered purebred dogs across a selection of cherished Scottish heritage breeds — including West Highland White Terriers, Scottish Terriers, and Golden Retrievers. The West Highland White Terrier — affectionately known as the “Westie” — holds a special place in HeatherBee’s program. Originating in the rugged Scottish Highlands, Westies are known for their distinctive white double coat, confident and spirited temperament, intelligence, and adaptability as both devoted companions and active family members. Each Westie in the HeatherBee program comes from carefully selected European, Canadian, and American champion bloodlines, reflecting a thoughtful approach to structure, temperament, and breed-typical character.
Puppies at HeatherBee are raised within the home environment and are socialized with people, other dogs, and everyday sights and sounds to help foster well-rounded, confident personalities. In line with Puppy Culture principles, puppies receive age-appropriate neurological and social stimulation, setting them up for success as they transition into their forever homes. Every puppy receives veterinary care, including microchipping, vaccinations, and health evaluations, and is supported by a comprehensive information package and lifelong breeder guidance.
